4 TEENS

‘4 Teens’ is a support & social group for young LGBT+ people aged 13 – 19 years old. 4 Teens will run every Friday from 6pm – 8pm and be a social and support group for teenagers. It will incorporate play and learning; offering relaxed sessions, board games, console, art & crafts as well as educational and open sessions around mental, emotional, physical and sexual health. Inviting special guests in to talk to the group.

GRAMPIAN T-FOLK

‘Grampian T-Folk’ offers a peer social group for those who identify under the transgender umbrella. The Group will meet fortnightly and offer opportunities for members to find themselves, grow confidences, and build relationships in a safe and welcoming setting. Partake in educational activities, best practice advice and professional visits to the group (i.e voice coaching, equality officers etc).

‘Grampian Enby’ offers a peer social group for those who identify under as non-binary. OUT 4 ME

‘Out 4 ME’ is a social group for Ethnic & Minority LGBT+ individuals. The group aims to enable members to build relationships, grow confidences and improve their overall quality of life, and allow individuals to meet others within the community they otherwise wouldn’t. The group meets every other Thursday 6pm – 8pm at Four Unity, it will allow members to attend regularly and build better relationships.

CHECK MATES

‘Check-Mates is a social, gaming and peer support group at 4Unity which seeks to reduce isolation, promote healthy discussion and foster a sense of community and belonging among attendees.

Whether it’s to play some games with likeminded people, or just chat over a coffee, all are welcome to join in on this free, fun event which provides a great opportunity to meet new people, connect with friends and learn some new tabletop games.

All ages and all abilities are free to attend – from absolute beginners to seasoned veteran gamers.’

WRITERS CLUB

A Monthly club for people who enjoy writing or want to start.

Whether it’s a poem, a short story, or a piece of reflective writing that you are proud of, come down and share it with friendly, like-minded artists for some constructive feedback and support. Each month has a prompt to get the creative muscles working, however, these prompts are merely a suggestion, and any writing is welcome.

‘Including Families’ is a support service for parents, partners and siblings of the LGBT+ community. This service offers peer support and education to all members, and shares information on learning about what it means for their family members who are LGBT+ and how best they can support their kin.  Contact and speak with a parent one-to-one.
